POWERADE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Julia Wallace, Track & Field

Second-year track and field athlete, Julia Wallace from Whitby, Ont. qualified for the CIS Championships in the women's triple jump with a jump of 12.02 metres, to win the competition at the Western Season Opener this past weekend. This mark was an 80 centimeter personal best for Julia and ranks her first in the country and is the second best performance in Gryphon history behind only multi-time All-Canadian Neb Zachariah.
