Nick Huard, Men’s Hockey
Rookie centre Nick Huard from North Bay, Ont. notched five goals in leading the Guelph Gryphons men’s hockey team in two big victories this past week. On Thursday he scored the winning goal and the insurance goal in a 4-0 win over the York Lions at the Gryphon Centre. The Arts major then followed up the next night with a hat-trick, scoring one goal in each period including the winner in the third period in a 3-2 win over the Brock Badgers on Friday night in St. Catharine’s. The Gryphons are sitting third in the OUA West with a 15-7-2 record and host the second place Windsor Lancers this Saturday at the Gryphon Centre.
