First year Jeremy Latour from Barrie, Ont. earned the gold medal in the men’s 120 kilogram category at the 2014 Wrestling Championships in Fredericton, NB this past weekend. Latour who earned the OUA gold in the same event two week’s ago defeated Kyle Nguyen of Winnipeg in the national final bout. The 6-foot-5 rookie went undefeated in all his matches, without a single point scored against him and was named a CIS First-Team All-Canadian.
