ROSS PROUDFOOT, CROSS COUNTRY

First-year runner Ross Proudfoot of Sudbury, Ont. had a historic debut this past Saturday turning in the best rookie performance in the 36-year history of the Western International cross country race in London, Ont. Proudfoot won the race in his debut at the 10k distance in a time of 31 minutes and 50 seconds.
