2025-26 Recruiting Class: Gryphons Men’s Soccer

GUELPH, Ont. – A total of eight new student-athletes are set to join the University of Guelph men's soccer program for the 2025-26 season. "We are very excited to welcome a talented group of young players to our team and the Guelph community this year," says Alan Koch, who enters his first season at the helm of the University of Guelph men's soccer program after being named head coach in January of 2025. "I am grateful to (Gryphons associate coach) Justin Springer for the work that he has put into this recruitment class during the coaching transition and am excited to work with all of these student-athletes to help them maximize their talent over the next few years."

The 2025-26 Gryphons men's soccer recruiting class includes two midfielders, two centre backs, two full backs, one striker and one goalkeeper. The Gryphons, who reached the OUA quarterfinal stage a season ago, will kick off their 2025 campaign on Friday, August 29 at home versus the Windsor Lancers.
