Guelph, Ont. – The Gryphon men's volleyball team continued their red-hot start to the season by beating Ryerson in straight sets 25-20, 26-24 and 28-26. With the win, the Gryphons surpass their win total from all of last season and now sit at 6-1 in the season, tied with McMaster for top spot in the OUA. The Gryphons received some big performances from fifth year senior Marc Wilson (Stratford, Ont.) as well as first year left side Zach Newman (Ktichener, Ont.). Wilson had a team-high 11 kills and 13 points while Newman led the team with two service aces, six block assists while tallying 12 points. Eric Wagner and Kyle Richards each had 10 digs. Up next for the Gryphons, a trip to Kingston next weekend to take on Queen's and RMC.
