Kingston, Ont. – (January 12, 2014) – The Gryphons dropped a 3-0 final to the Queen's Gaels Sunday afternoon on the road to finish the weekend 1-1. Set scores were  25-16, 25-22, and 25-18. 
 
The Gaels offense was extremely efficient in the win, committing just two attacking errors in the opening set and 10 in the match.
 
Leading the Gryphons was Patrick Strzalkowski who was the sole Gryphon to reach the double-digit mark with 11 kills.
 
Mike Tomlinsom led Queen's to victory with 14 kills, two aces, and two blocks.
 
The Gryphons return home next weekend for a pair of games on Friday (Jan. 17) against Nipissing and Saturday (Jan. 18) against York. Both game are at 8:00 p.m.
