Women's Volleyball 2023-24 Schedule
Men's Volleyball 2023-24 Schedule
The Gryphons women's and men's volleyball teams will once again play a 20-game regular season schedule, with the 2024 OUA volleyball playoffs set to begin in late February (quarterfinal round of the OUA playoffs beginning on Saturday, February 24, 2024).

The 2024 OUA playoffs will culminate on Saturday, March 9, 2024, with the playing of the Quigley Cup (women's OUA championship game) and Forsyth Cup (men's OUA championship game). For both the Gryphons men's and women's volleyball teams, the fall will mark the start of their pursuit to return to the OUA postseason, with both U of G teams falling just short of reaching the OUA playoffs the previous two seasons.
Should the Gryphons earn a trip to nationals in March of 2024, neither team will have to leave the province to compete for a U SPORTS title. On the women's side, the 2023-24 U SPORTS volleyball season will culminate in Hamilton, Ontario with McMaster University serving as hosts of the 2024 U SPORTS Women's Volleyball Championships for the third time. On the men's side, the 2023-24 volleyball season comes to an end in Kingston, Ontario, with Queen's University serving as hosts of the U SPORTS Men's Volleyball Championships for the second time. Both national championship tournaments are set to take place from March 15-17, 2024.
A season ago, the Guelph Gryphons narrowly missed out on the OUA playoffs after both teams experience seasons riddled with injuries. Despite being shorthanded there was no shortage of impressive performances on the court for both of the U of G volleyball teams. The Gryphon men put together a 10-10 record during the 2023-24 regular season and missed out on the postseason after losing a tiebreaker to the Western Mustangs for the final playoff spot. The Gryphon women finished the 2023-24 regular season with a 7-13 record, finding themselves 3 places back of a playoff position in the OUA standings.
Over the next few weeks, the OUA will continue to announce 2023-24 schedules, with basketball next in line on Wednesday, May 3.
