GUELPH, ON - The Gryphons men's rugby team completed an undefeated regular season on Friday night with a 56-3 win over the visiting McMaster Marauders. 

On Friday night, the Gryphon forwards shouldered the load for the majority of the game and set the tone for the Gryphons early on. Fifth year captain Eric Howard impressed in what was the final game of his varsity career, scoring two tries on the night and rallying his teammates throughout the night. Howard will miss the OUA playoffs as he is now off to Ireland, Romania and France to represent Canada at the senior national level.

Cody Burton accounted for 18 points with the foot while six other Gryphons recorded tries on the night.

The Gryphons (8-0) will now prepare to host an OUA Semifinal game on Saturday, November 5th.
