Today (Oct. 16) the Gryphons defeated the Gaels 6-2 and now sport a 9-1 record. This ensures the Gryphons have secured the second spot in the OUA.
 
Erin Houle (Burlington, ON) led the red, black and gold with two goals, while Brittany Seidler (Oliver, BC), Alison Little (Toronto, ON), Candice Hawksworth (Oakville, ON) and Erica Baxter (Kitchener, ON) added singles to the tally.
 
Meghan Hurst (Coquitlam, BC) recorded the win.
 
The Gryphons round out league play next weekend as they match up against the Varsity Blues and the Martlets at Downsview Park on Saturday October 22.
