BRITTANY BENN, WOMEN’S RUGBY
Fifth-year Brittany Benn was instrumental in Guelph’s 2-0 opening week with wins over McMaster and Laurier.  The centre played extraordinary in their convincing 91-0 win over Laurier on Sunday as her attacking ability and outright speed allowed her to touch down for three tries (15 points). In the Gryphons season opening 53-8 win over McMaster, Benn led the team with a 15-point performance scoring three tries. Although her ability to score is impressive, her tackles on defence deserve equal merit.  She has the ability able to shut down any attacking options from the opposition.
