BURLINGTON, Ont. – Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced the major award winners, all stars and all-rookie team for the 2025-26 women's basketball season on Thursday, February 26. A pair of Gryphons earned All-Star nods as
Hannah Bourdon was named to the Second Team and
Christina Morra was named to the Third Team.
Hannah Bourdon - OUA Second Team All-Star
For the second consecutive season,
Hannah Bourdon has been named to the OUA Second Team All-Star. The Fort Erie native continued to build off her impressive campaign from a season ago, solidifying her as one of the top guards in the OUA. Bourdon led her team with 367 points (6th in OUA), averaging 17.7 points-per-game (7th in OUA), 63 assists (5th in OUA) and 74 steals (2nd in OUA). The sport and event management major had some standout performances for her side this season including a career-high 30 points, 17 rebounds and 7 made three's against Brock on November 22. Bourdon matched her career-high in points with 30 on February 8 against Algoma on 12 of 16 shooting on the field, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Christina Morra - OUA Third Team All-Star
Christina Morra has been named an OUA Third Team All-Star following an outstanding season for the Gryphons. Morra, pursuing her masters in public health, provided an interior presence for the team, helping unlock the offence. Morra finished the regular season with 352 points (11th in OUA), 16.0 points-per-game (12th in OUA) and tallied 11 double-doubles. The Mississauga native also led the team with 204 rebounds (8th in OUA), averaging 9.3 rebounds-per-game (9th in OUA) and led the conference with 121 made free throws at an 81.2% clip (6th in OUA). Morra came through with some big games for the Gryphons including grabbing a season-high 17 rebounds to go with her 14 points against Waterloo on November 28. She scored a season-best 33 points while shooting 10-16 from the field and going 13-14 from the free throw line on January 30 at Nipissing as she was able to repeat the feat the following day (Jan. 31) at Laurentian scoring 25 points and making all 14 of her free throws.
