GUELPH, Ont. - The Gryphons women's rugby team started off the 2024 season in impressive fashion, defeating the Western Mustangs 63-3 on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 31) at the University of Guelph's Varsity Field. Nine different players recorded tries for the Gryphons, including 3 tries from second-year standout, Adelaide Holmes (Waterloo, ON). The Gryphons (1-0) will play a total of six OUA regular season games, with their next matchup coming on the road on Saturday, September 7 when they head to the University of Toronto to face the Varsity Blues.
