Seven different players on the Gryphons recorded tries on the day, including a former Brock Badger in centre,

The victory marked Guelph's second win of the season over the Badgers, after also defeating Brock 44-10 in the season opener back on September 2. The Gryphons, who posted a 5-1 record during the six-game regular season and received an opening round bye in the playoffs thanks to their second-place finish in the OUA standings, will now head to Kingston for the 2023 OUA Championship game. The Queen's Gaels defeated the Western Mustangs 45-5 on Friday night (Oct. 20) in the other OUA semifinal.
