GUELPH, ON - The Gryphons women's rugby team are the No. 2-ranked program in the country. Saturday afternoon at Varsity Field, they continued their dominant form in 2016 with a 153-0 win over the visiting Laurier Golden Hawks. With the win, the Gryphons improve to 3-0 on the season.

14 different players scored tries for the Gryphons. Second year standout Julia Schell had four tries as well as eight conversions on the day.

The Gryphons have won three lopsided matches to start the season but will be in for a much tougher match in their next game as they travel to Kingston to face the Queen's Gaels on Saturday, October 1st.
