Guelph, ON – Saturday afternoon at the Gryphon Centre the Gryphons Women's Hockey team improved to 2-1 on the preseason with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Laurier Golden Hawks.
 
The Gryphons trailed 1-0 after 40 minutes of play but goals in the third period from Christine Grant and Kaitlin Lowy propelled the Gryphs to the win.
 
The Gryphons will now head south for a three game road trip against NCAA competition. The Gryphons will face Penn State, Boston College and Boston University over a three day span from Sept. 24-26.
