Kingston, ON - Sunday afternoon in Kingston the Gryphons Men's Volleyball team won in straight sets over the R.M.C. Paladins. Set scores were 25-22, 25-16 & 25-11. With the win, the Gryphons improve to 2-6 on the season while R.M.C. falls to 0-9.
After suffering a straight sets loss the previous day to Queen's, the Gryphons were given an opportunity to bounce right back with another match the next day and were able to come out on top of a tight opening set 25-22. The final two sets were all Guelph as the Gryphons received a balanced attack and were able to work a large number of players into their rotation.
Zach Newman and
Kendrick Kerr each had 8 kills while
Luke Woud and Kerr led the way with 4 stuff blocks each.
The Gryphons will now play each of their next three games at home starting with a Friday, November 27th matchup with the York Lions at 6pm.
