Coach Funk said, "Our first set tonight was the worst set we've played in the last 5 years. We made every mistake in the book and it seemed like we were playing in quick sand the whole night. We had decent energy but we could not execute to save our lives tonight."
Becky Breau led the Guelph offense with 9 points (8 kills, 1 block) followed by
Jessica Gormley with 8 (5 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks) and Breau led the defence with 13 digs as well. The Gryphons are right back at it on Saturday when they host the No. 5 McMaster Marauders at 6pm.
