Guelph, Ont. (Aug. 27, 2014) – The Guelph Gryphons women's soccer team closed out pre-season action in style on Wednesday night as they blanked the Ryerson Rams 6-0 at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.
 
Leading the way were veterans third-year Breanna Hall of Ottawa and fourth-year Courtney Whiteside of Guelph, Ont. who found the back of the net twice each.
 
Also chipping in for the Gryphons were Danielle Canhoto and Sydney Holden who each scored once in the win.
 
Guelph will now take the rest of the week to prepare before opening conference play at home on Saturday, August 30 against the Waterloo Warriors. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.
