Guelph's rookie goalie Valarie Lamenta made her third start of the season and showed Gryphon fans that the future in between the pipes is bright, even when Stephanie Nehring graduates.  Lamenta turned away all 22 shots she faced for the shutout.  In 120 minutes of action this weekend, the Gryphons allowed just one goal and their 22 goals against on the season are the second lowest total in the OUA.  The Gryphons next OUA game will not take place until January 10th, but they will be in exhibition action on Sunday December 28th at the Gryphon Centre when they host third ranked team in the country in the University of Alberta Pandas.  Puck drop is set for 3:00 p.m.
