MHKY: Stingers edge Gryphons 3-2

Box Score
Montreal, Que – Saturday afternoon in Montreal the Gryphon men's hockey team lost 3-2 to the Concordia Stingers.  With the loss, the Gryphons fall to 3-9-2 on the season while the Stingers improve to 5-11-0.

After falling behind 2-0 early on, the Gryphons would storm back to tie the game at 2-2.  Second year forward Robert De Fulviis (Toronto, Ont.) would get the Gryphons on the board with his second goal in as many games to trim Concordia's lead to 2-1.  With one minute remaining in the second period, Gryphon rookie Andres Kopstals (Toronto, Ont.) would tie the game up at 2-2 with a power play goal.  But in the third period, Concordia would score what would be the game-winner as Scott Oke would beat Andrew D'Agostini (Scarborough, Ont.) to give the Stingers a 3-2 lead and that is how it would finish.

The Gryphon men's hockey team will now return home for a Thursday night (Nov. 27) matchup with Ryerson.  Puck drops at 7pm at the Gryphon Centre.
