Gryphons win 13-0 over Algoma


Guelph, Ont. (Oct. 11, 2014) – The Gryphon women's soccer team had three different players record hat-tricks as part of a 13-0 win over the Algoma Thunderbirds.  Courtney Whiteside (Guelph, Ont.), Breanna Hall (Kanata, Ont.) and Meredith Langston (Aurora, Ont.) all finished with three goals on the day.  Kristina Strojin (St. Catherine's, Ont.), Ellie MacDonald (Aurora, Ont.) and Sarah Magalhaes (Ajax, Ont.) also scored in the game.  Over the course of their doubleheader with Algoma, the Gryphons outscored the Thunderbirds by a total of 22-0.  The Gryphons improve to 6-6-1 on the season and will next play Laurier on Wednesday, October 15 at 4:15pm in Waterloo.
