On the strength of an outstanding effort from Gryphon goalie Cody St.Jacques (Iroquois Falls, Ont.) the Guelph Gryphon men's hockey team dominated the Laurier Golden Hawks 7-0 tonight in Waterloo at the Sun Life Arena.  The Gryphons advance to 4-8-4 on the season while the Golden Hawks fall to 4-10-1.
 
After a scoreless first period, the Gryphon offence ignited, outscoring the Golden Hawks 5-0 in the second period. Jon Thomas MacDonald (Niagara Falls, Ont.) led the Gryphons with a pair of goals and an assist while Phil Teri (Elora, Ont.) and Jamie MacIntre (Charlottetown, PEI) each scored a goal and two assists.  St. Jacques finished with 18 saves, earning his second shutout of the season.
 
The Gryphons return to action tomorrow night against the Western Mustangs in London at 7:30 p.m.
