Brittney Crawford (Guelph, Ont.) was able to notch a power play goal with assist going to Kate Mora (Guelph, Ont.) and Tamara Bell (Guelph, Ont.). However, Windsor answered right back leaving the score 4-1 after the second.

Guelph came out hard in the third not wanting to let the game slip away. After 10 minutes of back and forth play, Victoria Head (Kanata, Ont.) was able to tip the puck in the net with a beautiful back door pass from Michelle Sabourin (Pickering, Ont.).

Guelph kept up the pressure and Erin Small (Pickering, Ont.) continued her scoring streak netting on the power play with assists going to Jackie Sollis (West Vancouver, BC) and Emily Corbett (Toronto).

With 1:26 seconds to go in the contest Sam Ryder (North Vancouver, BC) took an interference penalty leaving Guelph shorthanded for the remainder of the game. With both teams 4-on-4, netminder Stepanie Nehring (Oshawa, Ont.) came to the bench for an extra attacker.

With four seconds to go Victoria Head jammed home a rebound off of Emily Corbett winning the face-off and Erin Small taking a quick shot.
