MEN’S HOCKEY – Gryphons continue win-streak defeating Ryerson 8-2


The men's hockey team continued their winning streak picking up an 8-2 road win over the Ryerson Rams on Saturday (Sat. 21) in Toronto. Guelph won their fourth straight game and move to 6-5-2 on the season, while the Rams drop to 6-7-1. Kris Belan (Florence, Ont.) scored a pair of goals. Matt Lyall (Richmond Hill, Ont.), Derek Knowles (Vanderhoof, BC), Zach Lillie (Bracebridge, Ont.), Michael Kusy (St. Catharine's, Ont.), Jon Thomas Macdonald (Niagara Falls, Ont.) and Tim Priamo (Guelph, Ont.) also scored.

Goaltender Scot VanBommel recorded 29 saves.

The Gryphons next action is Friday (Nov. 27) and Saturday (Nov. 28) when they host the CIS No. 8 Lakehead Thunderwolves at the Gryphon Centre. The puck drops at 7:30pm for both games.
