Third year left side Josh Green earns Gryphon Athlete of the Week honours after a pair of impressive performances this past weekend for the Gryphons men's volleyball team. Friday night against the No. 8-ranked team in the country (Queen's Gaels), Josh racked up a team-high 10 kills and 12.5 points. The 6-foot-4, Georgetown, Ontario native also had 2 service aces in the loss to Queen's. On Saturday, Josh was once again leading the way for the Gryphons, this time in a straight sets win over RMC. Green's team-high 16.5 points and 15 kills were part of a strong all-around performance by the third year man, who also racked up 8 digs. On the season, Josh leads the Gryphons with 176.5 points and 161 kills. The Gryphons (5-11) will be in action again on Friday, February 12 when they host the No. 10-ranked team in the country in the Ryerson Rams (12-4).
