Second year athlete Alison Carrow continued her impressive 2014-2015 season by capturing an individual gold medal while helping lead the Gryphons women's wrestling team to a third place finish at the OUA Wrestling Championships at Laurentian University.  The Brampton, Ontario native took home a gold medal in the 67kg weight class by defeating Nicole Roach of McMaster and Kelsey Dayler from Lakehead, both by technical superiority (10-0 wins).  On the season, Carrow has suffered just one loss, which came against Olympic athlete Leah Callahan at the 2015 Guelph Open.  By winning gold this past weekend in Sudbury, Alison secured her spot at the CIS Wrestling Championship in Edmonton, Alberta February 26-27.
