POWERADE MALE GRYPHON ATHLETE OF THE WEEK:

MICHAEL PETRELLA, MEN’S BASKETBALL

Petrella, a fourth-year student from Brantford, Ont. averaged 26 points a game last weekend including a 35-point performance.  After tallying 17 points in an 87-75 road loss to Laurier on Wednesday, the guard exploded for 35 points, going 12-for-19 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free throw line on Saturday to lead the Gryphons to an 87-80 win over the Waterloo Warriors.
