Since the calendar flipped over to 2015, the Gryphons men's hockey team have been one of the hottest teams in the league.  And no player on the roster is hotter right now than second year forward Robert De Fulviis.  This past weekend, De Fulviis scored five goals in two games, leading the Gryphons to a pair of victories over the Western Mustangs and Waterloo Warriors.  On Thursday night (Feb. 5th) against the Mustangs, De Fulviis was the difference, recording a hat trick in a 5-2 win for the Gryphons.  The two points the Gryphons picked up in that game were crucial considering the week started with five teams vying for three playoff spots, all separated by just one point.

On Saturday night, De Fulviis was at it again, this time scoring two more goals while also assisting on the game-winner in a thrilling 5-4 win over the Waterloo Warriors.  The Toronto native leads the team with 14 goals on the season, with 10 of those goals coming over his past nine games. This marks the second time in the last four weeks that De Fulviis has been named the Gryphon Athlete of the Week.
