Heather Petrick (Niagara-on-the-lake, Ont.) won the OUA Cross Country Championship after engaging in a spirited battle with Gabriela Stafford from the University of Toronto and last year's CIS Champion Julie-Anne Staehli of Queen's. Petrick flew by Stafford in the closing metres to capture the individual title, in the process she helped the Gryphons to their 11th straight OUA title in cross country.
