Fourth year, Tyson Frost from Thunder Bay, Ont. was named the OUA’s most outstanding wrestler after claiming gold in the 82 kilogram weight class and leading his team to the men’s OUA Championship banner this weekend hosted by York. 

The Sociology student posted a perfect 3-0 mark in the round robin and a 3-1 win over former CIS champion Matrixx Ferreira from Brock in the championship finals. 


The Gryphons will now look to continue their charge toward another podium spot at the CIS Championships, hosted by University of New Brunswick fromFebruary 28-March 1.
