Rookie left side Rachel Petcoff (London, Ont.) notched 33 points and contributed 28 digs in helping the Guelph Gryphons women’s volleyball team to three big wins this past week and sole possession of first place in the OUA West Division.
 
The Science major recorded 11 points including eight kills, three blocks and seven digs in a 3-2 victory over the Brock Badgers on Tuesday. She followed up that performance on Saturday with 10 points (7 kills, 3 aces) and 12 digs in a 3-0 sweep over RMC. The next day the Gryphons defeated the Queens Gaels by a dominant 3-0 score where Petcoff tallied 12 points (11 kills, 1ace) and nine digs.
