Fourth year Carise Thompson (Orkney, Ont.) captured the silver medal at the CIS Cross country championships on Saturday with a time of 21:08.8. Her results led the Gryphons to their ninth straight CIS team title and marked her fourth medal in CIS competition. She was also named a first team All-Canadian.
