Powerade Women's Athlete of the Week

BRIENNE STAIRS, FIELD HOCKEY

Brienne Stairs, a 4th year Bio-Medical student who hails from Kitchener, Ont. spearheaded the Field Hockey Gryphons to a perfect 3-0 start on the season amassing six goals. Not only is the 2009 CIS Field Hockey Player of the Year contributing in goal production this season she is also setting up a majority of the plays with excellent ball distribution skills. Her tally on assists this weekend was also six for a total of 12 points in three contests.
