ABOUT US
Our Guelph Gryphons are elite athletes who are a valuable and integral part of the University of Guelph family. Expectations are high for our varsity team members. Our athletes practice from 15 to 20 hours per week and are also required to maintain the high academic standards expected of all University of Guelph students.

Our 650 student-athletes are the public face for the University. Whether travelling within the province, the country or abroad, our athletes are ambassadors of the University of Guelph.

However, over the past few years, the cost of training, equipment, travel and competition has tripled. As more of our teams compete for conference, provincial and national titles, costs continue to escalate. By participating in our Adopt-A-Gryphon program, you can enhance the opportunities available, directly impacting a student-athlete’s experience at Guelph.

We encourage you to consider donating a gift to our Adopt-A-Gryphon program. Your support will benefit our student-athletes and ensure they have the opportunities to reach their potential.

Join us for home and away games. Parking at the University of Guelph is free on the weekends and after 5:00 p.m. during the week.

WAYS TO GIVE
You can join the Adopt-A-Gryphon program in a variety of ways. Regardless of how you choose to make your gift, student-athletes appreciate your support.

Cash Gifts
Cash, cheques, automatic withdrawal and credit card gifts are examples of ways to support Gryphon Athletics. These outright gifts are critical, because they enable the team to apply funds where they are needed most.

Gifts-in-Kind
The fair market value of gifts of personal property, such as merchandise, equipment, and services beneficial to the athletic program, may be credited toward your giving and benefit levels.

Planned Gifts
Planned gifts, such as bequests, insurance policies, charitable gift annuities, and real estate, enable you to support the Gryphons.
