Chantique Payne
Third-year Chantique Payne (Brantford, Ont.) was named an OUA all-star after winning two gold medals and a bronze at this past weekend’s OUA Championships hosted by Brock University. Payne successfully defended her title in the 50 and 100m butterfly events and finished third in the 100m freestyle. She was the lone women’s team member named as an OUA all-star. Payne will now prepare for the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) swimming championships, hosted by the University of Toronto from Feb. 18-20.
