BOOT CAMP
Want Results?  Boot camp will do it!  Outdoors...Oh Yeah! Push-ups...For sure!  Cardio Drills...You bet!  Squats...No doubt!  Make this the semester you achieve all your fitness goals.  Calling all hardcore or wannabe hardcore enthusiasts!!  Join our University of Guelph Personal Trainers for the workout everyone is talking about!  Challenge yourself with this outdoor cardio and strength training workout.  Be prepared to push your limits, have fun and maybe sing a song or two!!  This program runs for 6 weeks, choose from once a week or twice a week session.

CONTACT BOXING
This workout designed to knock you out!  Round 1 is designed to combine karate, boxing drills & combinations with traditional fitness movements.  This program focuses on dynamic strength & flexibility as well as authentic technique to create a safe & effective martial arts-inspired workout.  This workout is integrated to train the mind as well as the body & improve cardiovascular & muscular endurance, speed, balance & coordination.  Gloves, target pads & skipping ropes are only some of the equipment we will utilize for this program.  Class size: Min. 6, Max. 26.  Includes 6 classes.

FIT IN THIRTY
Do you struggle to find a way to get to the gym?  You want to be fit but you just can’t find the time?  Is the thought of regular exercise a workout on its own?  If you answered yes to any of these questions then Fit in Thirty has been created with you in mind.   We want you to succeed so that you can enjoy the benefits of a fit and healthy lifestyle.  Welcome to the 30 day program that is designed to get you to exercise consistently and be recognized for doing so.  One of our multi talented trainers will oversee your 30 minute workout 3x/week for 4 weeks to ensure you stay motivated and get the most out of your workout.  We track your progress and follow up if you miss a session.  Complete the tracking card and you will receive an incentive at the end of the program.  Kick start your fitness adventure and let us help you make fitness a part of your life!!  Class size:  Min. 4, Max. 6.  Includes 12 sessions.

FITNESS FACTS SESSIONS
One hour sessions offered monthly to help you train better and smarter. These sessions will cover topics such as posture, cardiovascular training, lifting techniques, general health, staying motivated and benefits of exercise. Keep an eye out in the Athletics Centre for dates and times of the latest Fitness Facts Session.

STRENGTH TRAINING FUNDAMENTALS
This course provides 6 weeks of strength training fundamentals and practical application to bolster your workouts and achieve the results you want.  It is designed for beginners and intermediate exercisers to improve their knowledge and technique in the weight room.  Be stronger!  Look better!  Be safer!  Weekly sessions include an introductory theory/anatomy portion to learn the concepts, and an application portion in the weight room.  A must for all beginner and intermediate exercisers in our weight room!  Come prepared to work out and boost your strength training workouts!  Class size: Min. 6, Max. 20.   Includes 6 classes.

THE NEW YOU
This class is designed for those who have been inactive and are finally deciding it is time to change that.  You will learn the basic skills of aerobics, experience water training and start some basic strength training.  A friendly log book will give you record keeping information along with training tips and nutritional information - all lead by an experienced certified instructor who is committed to helping you achieve "The New You".  Class size: Min. 5, Max. 20.    Includes 16 classes.

WOW
If you’re a woman, this session is for you.   WOW addresses strength training specifically for women.  This workshop is great for those with no weight lifting experience as well as those who already practice a regular strength training program. Gather new ideas/concepts as we explore exercises that will allow you to work towards awesome arms, lean legs and a terrific torso. Learn the how’s and why’s, as well as the do’s and don’ts that will truly maximize every weight training workout you do.  Class size: Min. 6, Max. 20.  Includes 6 classes.
